For Pashinyan, it was a surprise that the 'crowd' would reach Stepanakert on such a scale: 'Hraparak'

According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', the recent violent actions of the police are attributed to the mass rally that took place in Stepanakert on May 28. It has come as a surprise to Nikol Pashinyan that a 'crowd' of such magnitude would gather in Stepanakert, resulting in thousands of people taking to the streets, chanting 'Nikol, traitor' and 'Nikol, leave'.

Pashinyan has understood that there is a nationwide protest against him and has instructed to suppress the protesters in Armenia using the most brutal methods, thereby also targeting the fears of the Artsakh people.
