Body Discovered in Reservoir Designed for Drip Irrigation

On May 31, at 21:46, a call was received by the Kotayk regional crisis management center reporting that a body of a guard had been observed in a reservoir intended for drip irrigation (2-3 meters deep) in the village of Zoravan. Rescue teams were requested.

A firefighting unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center, equipped with a diver, were dispatched to the scene.

Rescuers retrieved the body of V. S. (born 1956) from the reservoir.
