Zelensky Expressed Desire to Meet Putin, Says Cavusoglu
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his desire to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was reported by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
“Just yesterday, during negotiations, Zelensky expressed his wish to meet with Putin. Turkey continues its efforts,” Çavuşoğlu said in response to questions from Anadolu Agency editors.
It is also noteworthy that Çavuşoğlu announced that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Turkey on June 8, during which the security corridor for grain transportation in the Black Sea will also be discussed.
