Nitric Acid Tank Explodes in Severodonetsk

Ukrainian media report that a tank filled with nitric acid has exploded at the Azot chemical plant in Severodonetsk, located in the Luhansk region where fighting is ongoing. This information was published by Mk.ru.

Residents of the city and surrounding areas are advised to remain in shelters and are reminded that nitric acid poses health risks. Inhabitants have been asked to prepare face masks soaked in a soda solution.

Recommendations have also been given for first aid in case of contact with the substance or exposure to it.
