Azerbaijani Media Releases Photos Alleging to Show Our Soldier's Hit Area - Abrahamyan

Member of the National Assembly from the "I Have Honor" faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

"Azerbaijani media outlets are circulating photos claimed to show the area where our soldier was hit a few days ago. The photos depict a tent, which is presumably the shelter of our soldiers.

When I was informed on the day of our soldier's death that he had been inside the tent at the time of the strike, I recalled the assurances of this government that the frontline is secured with appropriate shelters.

If even a tent was set up, then on what basis was it placed in a vulnerable, visible area accessible to enemy fire?

Remember the large incentive budget allocated to the police, the acts of violence by police forces against citizens in the center of Yerevan, and the tented and unprotected areas along the border. For them, the law enforcement system has one goal—to fulfill the role of a blunt instrument, while the protection of borders is left to the whims of Azerbaijan.

P.S. I am not posting the photo released by Azerbaijan to avoid hurting the feelings of the relatives of our fallen soldier. It is a heavy image for me as well."
