We Have at Least 80 Captives, While Pashinyan Publicizes Aliyev's Claim of 39 Prisoners of War: Babayan

Arsen Babayan, a member of the 'Homeland' party council, specifically stated:

‘Human rights lawyer Siranush Sahakyan has reported that at the European Court of Human Rights, there are currently full evidence including videos presented regarding the presence of 80 prisoners of war. In total, there are 119 individuals. Aliyev claims that only 39 prisoners of war are currently held in Azerbaijan,’ Babayan wrote.

According to Babayan, it is noteworthy that this same number is officially reported by the Prime Minister of Armenia.

‘Soon, when the trial for the return of the 119 Armenian prisoners of war begins at the ECHR, the Azerbaijani side will refer to the official statement of Pashinyan in the international court. Consequently, the relatives of the Armenian prisoners of war and their representatives will have to defend themselves equally against both Nikol and Aliyev. What other evidence is needed to establish that Nikol Pashinyan is Azerbaijan's authorized representative in Armenia?’ Babayan wrote.
