«There are 5,000 Ukrainian prisoners of war in Donetsk». Pushilin

There are over 5,000 Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Donetsk region. This was announced by Denis Pushilin, the leader of the Donetsk People's Republic, according to RIA Novosti.

“As for the numbers, if we talk about the last units of the 'Azov' (against whom criminal cases have been initiated in Russia), who surrendered from 'Azovstal', to be precise, there are 2,439 people. Prior to this, there were about 3,000. These are mixed units,” Pushilin stated.

It is reminded that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that a decision had been made regarding a military special operation against Ukraine, as the Luhansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic had requested help.

The combat operations in Ukraine have been ongoing for 93 days now.
