"Get out of here, man, I said I can’t, I’m a colonel... they started hitting me" - Colonel on police officers

Reserve Colonel Arayik Muradyan stated that the reserve colonels are currently near the National Security Service building.

“On the morning of May 8, I was on Pushkin Street, and seeing that my comrade was inside a police car, I told the guys that he is the parent of a deceased soldier, don’t detain him. They responded, ‘get out of here, man,’ I said I can’t, I’m a colonel... They started hitting me, then took me to the station, and a few hours later they released me,” he said in an interview with reporters, adding that no internal investigation has been conducted so far.

Retired military personnel are demanding a criminal case be initiated regarding the incident.
