A 32-Year-Old Husband Shoots His 20-Year-Old Wife in Charentsavan

Investigations are underway at the Charentsavan police department regarding an incident that occurred in Charentsavan city on May 23.

According to photojournalist Gayk Shamshyan, at approximately 6:30 AM, a 32-year-old resident of Charentsavan, identified as Hayk A., fired a shot at his 20-year-old wife, Hayarpi Gh., using a registered "GAMO" rifle at the intersection of Esayan and Shahumyan streets.

As reported by Shamshyan, she was diagnosed with a "penetrating gunshot wound to the left foot" and was subsequently transported to the Charentsavan medical center.
