Russia Will Help Overcome Global Food Crisis if West Lifts Sanctions: Putin

Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in a phone conversation with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, stated that the Russian Federation is ready to contribute to overcoming the global food crisis if the West lifts the sanctions imposed on the country. This was reported by the Kremlin's press service.

“Vladimir Putin emphasized that the Russian Federation is willing to make a significant contribution to addressing the food crisis through the export of grains and fertilizers, contingent upon the removal of politically motivated restrictions by the West,” the message noted.
