Israel Destroys Senior Iranian Military Officer

Israeli authorities have notified the United States that they have eliminated a senior Iranian military officer, who is believed to have been responsible for the killings of Israelis and citizens of other countries worldwide. This information is reported by the New York Times, citing sources.

The officer in question is Sayyad Khodai, who held the position of deputy commander of a secret unit in the Iranian army, tasked with assassinating individuals in different parts of the world.

The report claims that Khodai was eliminated last Sunday, May 22, near his home in Tehran. According to sources, two armed individuals approached his vehicle and fired at least five bullets at him.

Following the incident, official Tehran blamed Israel for the action, and the country’s National Security Council promised a severe response for this assassination. Khodai was responsible for various operations carried out in the Middle East, but his activities were not limited to the region. The publication states that his targets included both civilian and high-ranking officials from Europe, the U.S., Kenya, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates, as reported by RIA Novosti.
