Details from the Brussels Meeting: "Hraparak"

According to the "Hraparak" newspaper, some details have emerged from the Brussels meeting. According to government-affiliated sources, the President of the European Council insisted that it is necessary to expedite the processes and announce the composition of the delimitation commissions the next day, holding the inaugural meeting of their presidents.

Regarding Artsakh, Michel clearly stated that Azerbaijan must be able to find common ground with Artsakh, convince it, and guarantee its security. He warned Aliyev that if he cannot reach an agreement with the Artsakh representatives, we will have to accept the necessity of the Russian peacekeepers' presence, and they will remain in Artsakh indefinitely.

Europeans understand that they will not be able to break the resistance of Artsakh, nor will they be able to remove Russia from the region as long as Artsakh opposes this. One way is to break or persuade the will of Artsakh, and the other is to convince Aliyev to make concessions.

Aliyev attempted to leverage the factor of Pashinyan, stating to Michel, "What if I reach an agreement with Pashinyan, and he agrees with my guarantees; can I negotiate with him on behalf of the Artsakh people?" According to our sources, this option was not accepted. This means that Aliyev will have to negotiate with the authorities of Artsakh.

It should be noted that Artsakh is managing to advance its own interests with its determination. It remains to be seen whether the Prime Minister of Armenia will not hinder this.
