"We Must Not Lose Vigilance": Avanesyan on COVID-19

The number of fully vaccinated individuals in Armenia (those who have received two doses) has surpassed one million. This was reported by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, on her Facebook page.

“Our country is relatively calm from an epidemiological perspective, but in several countries, such as North Korea, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan, COVID-19 is still not retreating. We must not lose vigilance; we need to continue the vaccination process. My remarks particularly pertain to the representatives of vulnerable groups, citizens over the age of 65. We must not forget that vaccination is a responsibility, and we must do everything we can to effectively confront new waves,” she stated.
