VIDEO: How Police Detain Participants of Metro Protest

A group of participants in the acts of disobedience disrupted the operations of the Yerevan metro. At the metro station "Youth," a group of young people obstructed the normal flow of train traffic by sitting and standing between the doors of the trains, preventing them from moving away from the station. Train drivers were unable to close the doors and proceed.

After some time, a disobedience action also began at the "Republic Square" station, where police started detaining activists.

It is noteworthy that the metro announced to Auroranews that regular operations resumed at 9:30 AM.

It is also worth mentioning that protests had taken place in the Yerevan metro last week, on May 18. On that day, trains at "Youth" station were stopped for about 20 minutes, causing a disruption in the entire metro operation.
