Russian Defense Ministry Reports Heroic Actions of Armenian Lieutenant Colonel

The Russian Defense Ministry has recounted the brave and selfless actions of Lieutenant Colonel Pavlik Martirosyan, the communications chief of a motorized rifle brigade, during the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine. It highlighted how Lieutenant Colonel Martirosyan created an opportunity to drive the attackers out of their occupied positions.

“Lieutenant Colonel Martirosyan, risking his life while under heavy enemy fire, jumped into the water to rescue three soldiers with multiple shrapnel wounds and fractures from a vehicle. Afterward, he organized the evacuation of an armored vehicle, thus preventing the loss of communication equipment,” the ministry stated.
