NATO Brings 42,000 Troops to High Combat Readiness
NATO has brought 42,000 troops, 120 aircraft, and 20 ships to a high state of combat readiness, according to a report by РИА Новости.
This announcement was made during a press conference by NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, U.S. General Todd Walters. He stated, “Under my command, we now have over 42,000 personnel and 120 aircraft in a high state of combat readiness, and more than 20 ships are also operating in a combat-ready mode.”
Walters declared that NATO intends to implement a comprehensive deterrence strategy, including in the Baltic and Black Sea regions.
