Judge David Arghamanyan Withdraws from Case: Will Not Consider Igor Khachaturov's Detention Request

Judge David Arghamanyan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction will not consider the request for the detention of Igor Khachaturov, son of former Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Yuri Khachaturov. Judge Arghamanyan has accepted the motion for withdrawal submitted by Khachaturov's lawyer, Mihran Poghosyan, as reported by Factinfo.

It is noteworthy that Igor Khachaturov is accused under the first part of Article 316 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to the use of non-dangerous violence against a representative of power.
