Major Car Accident in Vayots Dzor Region: 36-Year-Old Driver Rolls Over Multiple Times in Toyota Corolla and Ends Up in Gorge

Today, on May 18th, a serious car accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. Around 05:10, David D., a 36-year-old resident of the Republic of Artsakh, lost control of his Toyota Corolla while driving on the 142.5 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway towards Yerevan. The vehicle veered off the roadway, rolling over several times and ending up in a gorge.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, David D. was extracted from the vehicle by the fire-rescue team of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who promptly arrived at the scene. He was then taken to the ambulance vehicle of the 'Vayk Medical Center' for emergency care.

The doctors provided first aid to the injured man before transporting him to the hospital. Investigations into the incident are underway.
