Azerbaijan Attempts to Install Power Poles in Artsakh's Aghavno Village, Armenian Side Denies Access

Azerbaijan is attempting to install power poles in the village of Aghavno in Artsakh today, but the Armenian side is denying access. This information was reported to Lragir.am by Martiros Hakobyan, a member of the National Democratic Pole who has settled in the Aghavno community.

“We are right now going to negotiate with them. They have come to install power poles in the village to connect electricity, but we are not allowing them. They intend to take the electricity to the areas that were occupied during the war. I will be able to provide additional information once the negotiations are completed, but for now, we do not know how they will end,” he stated.

Hakobyan also mentioned that the Russian peacekeepers present in the area are not acting neutrally. “Yesterday we had a debate with the Russians; they are showing that they are supposedly neutral, but what they say is not in our favor, that’s the whole problem,” he added.
