Ararat Mirzoyan Leaves for Brussels Today

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, is set to depart for Brussels today for a working visit, where he will preside over the 4th session of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council. The information was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan.

"During the session, the parties will discuss the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and the Economic and Investment Program between Armenia and the EU, as well as cooperation in the fields of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. They will also exchange views on the prospects for initiating dialogue regarding trade and sectoral cooperation and the liberalization of visa regulations," the statement said.

Issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as regional security, will be addressed.

The Armenian delegation will be headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, while the EU delegation will be led by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.

During the visit, the head of Armenia's foreign affairs agency will also hold meetings with various EU officials.
