Russia Must Not Fight NATO Expansion Alone: Lukashenko
Russia must not fight NATO expansion alone. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at the CSTO summit in Moscow.
“NATO is aggressively expanding, pulling in neutral countries and operating under the principle of 'Whoever is not with us is against us.'” Lukashenko also noted that the West's 'hellish' sanctions could have been avoided if CSTO countries had presented a united front against them.
A series of joint exercises of the CSTO are planned for autumn, and their number will be increased. The President also announced that CSTO leaders will adopt a joint statement on military cooperation, taking into account the results of the peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan.
The West's main goal is to weaken Russia as much as possible, to 'strangle it in this war,' said Lukashenko.
