Video: CSTO Leaders Unable to Immediately Decide Who Will Speak First After Putin

The CSTO summit has commenced in Moscow, attended by the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. The summit is held in honor of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty. Vladimir Putin stated that the CSTO plays a significant stabilizing role in the post-Soviet space. The Russian president expressed hope that the organization’s capabilities and influence would only grow.

The meeting began in a cheerful atmosphere. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was offered to speak after Putin; however, he attempted to pass the opportunity to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
