Gas Prices Set New Record in the U.S.
Gas prices at American gas stations have once again set a new historic high, reaching $4.483 per gallon (3.785 liters). This was reported based on data released on Monday by the non-commercial American Automobile Association, as reported by TASS.
According to the published data, the average price of Regular gasoline per gallon increased to $4.483 in the U.S. by Monday (the figure was $4.452 on Saturday).
The highest gas prices in the country remain traditionally in California, where motorists will have to pay an average of $5.983 per gallon.
Gas prices in the U.S. have been rising steadily for the second consecutive week. This increase in fuel costs is occurring against the backdrop of rising global oil prices, despite attempts by the White House to counteract this trend.
