Saghatelyan Outlines Achievements of the ‘Resistance’ Movement

Member of the ‘Hayastan’ parliamentary faction Ishkhan Saghatelyan spoke at a press conference held at France Square about the achievements of the ‘Resistance’ movement. Saghatelyan emphasized that the ‘Resistance’ movement is exceptional in its scale and popularity in the history of independent Armenia, stating, “In terms of its scale and popularity, our movement is unique in the history of independent Armenia; it is the second movement in Artsakh.”

Saghatelyan also discussed the accomplishments of the movement, stating, “During this time, the movement has registered the following achievements: First, it has halted the process of lowering the Armenian side’s benchmarks on the Artsakh issue, and this is now an obvious fact. Second, the movement has created a real political crisis, including for our international partners, as at least at this moment, the issue of Nikol Pashinyan’s legitimacy is becoming evident. Third, the movement has proven that the Armenian people will not accept any concessions imposed on them, and Nikol Pashinyan has no mandate to lead the country into new concessions. Fourth, the movement has made it clear that there is a publicly articulated demand for the removal of this government.”
