Tat'evik Karapetyan Appointed as Advisor to the President

By the decree of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Tat'evik Karapetyan has been appointed as an advisor to the President of the Republic.

"Taking into account the first part of Article 139 of the Constitution, as well as parts 5 and 9 of Article 8 of the Law on Public Service, Tat'evik Karapetyan is appointed as the President's advisor starting from May 13, 2022," states the relevant decree.

Earlier, Armdaily.am reported that Tat'evik, daughter of former press secretary of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Armenia's ambassador to Ukraine Vladimir Karapetyan, would soon receive an official position. It was announced that she would become the press secretary for President Vahagn Khachaturyan. However, since there is no official position for a press secretary in the presidential apparatus, she has been appointed as an advisor to the President, while fulfilling the duties of a spokesperson.
