“Democracy” movement arrived at Republic Square a short while ago. “Nikol, you should know, we will come after you every day and every hour,” declared Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the ARF and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, near the Government building.

“From now on, you will be looking at the people from behind police barriers and barbed wires. You have no support in Armenia, except for these police forces. Know that your days are numbered,” he noted.

It is worth reminding that the opposition's disobedience actions began in the second half of April. Specifically, on April 17, the leader of the “Homeland” party, Artur Vanetsyan, addressed citizens via a Facebook live from Freedom Square, calling on them to join their struggle, and on April 22, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and member of the “Armenia” faction Ishkhan Saghatelyan announced the start of street protests.
