Azerbaijani Sapper Injured by Landmine Explosion

An Azerbaijani sapper has been injured in a landmine explosion in Aghdam, reports Sputnik Azerbaijan.

It is noted that Captain Suleyman Vagif oglu Heydarov, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service combat and special preparation division, was injured due to the detonation of an anti-tank mine. He has sustained serious injuries.

It is worth mentioning that a similar incident occurred in the same area the previous day, where a 40-year-old man later died in the hospital.
