Preliminary Data Indicates Conscription Soldier Argishti Yeghyan Committed Suicide: Investigative Committee
The Investigative Committee of Armenia reports that within the framework of a criminal case initiated under Article 360.1, Part 2, Clause 3 of the RA Criminal Code, investigative and other procedural actions are being conducted to clarify the circumstances of the death of conscript soldier, Private Argishti Armenuhi Yeghyan.
According to preliminary data, on May 11, 2022, around 10:15, Private Argishti Armenuhi Yeghyan, an assistant to the rifle-grenade launcher at military unit N of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest with his service rifle while stationed at a combat lookout point within the security area of the same military unit.
An investigation is underway.

It is recalled that yesterday the Ministry of Defense reported the discovery of a serviceman's body at one of the military units located in the eastern direction.
