Photos: What the Recreation Area on the Right Side of Lake Yerevan Will Look Like

The cleaning works of Lake Yerevan, initiated through the City Hall's annual program, are currently underway. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Yerevan City Hall.

For 2022, the budget allocations will amount to 60 million 430 thousand drams. This will include the installation of a barrier on the Hrazdan River, organizing waste removal activities, and the collection and transportation of approximately 12,500 cubic meters of waste.

Alongside the cleaning of Lake Yerevan, a recreation area will be created in the vicinity. Plans include landscaping a 2.8-hectare area along the shoreline, installing benches, waste bins, constructing a sports ground, cycling paths, and walking paths. The area will be illuminated with energy-saving lights, and landscaping work will be carried out.
