Man Provided Hotel Rooms to Prostitutes, Facilitating Prostitution
The investigation into the case of a 40-year-old man facilitating prostitution has concluded at the Main Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.
During the pre-trial proceedings, it was revealed that the 40-year-old man, working in a hotel in Yerevan and being aware that several individuals were engaged in prostitution, provided them with hotel rooms in June 2021, thereby facilitating their engagement in prostitution.
Based on a sufficient combination of evidence, charges have been brought against the man under point 5 of part 2 of Article 262 of the RA Criminal Code, and a measure of restraint has been selected in the form of a signature not to leave. The pre-trial investigation has concluded, and the criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor overseeing the case with a motion to confirm the indictment and forward it to the court.
