Large Sums of Money Extorted at 'Shatapochnutyun' LLC: State Audit Office

The State Audit Office has reported that during the inspection of 'Shatapochnutyun' LLC, a number of cases were identified where funding was received for services that had already been paid for under a state order.

According to the announcement, "As a result, 1281 incidents of already paid call slips were entered into the 'Armed' system in the service contracts with 13 businesses, for which an unjustified funding of 17,595,320 AMD was received from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.”

Additionally, 724 inconsistencies were found in the records of payments for services rendered between 2019 and 2021. Specifically, call slips that had already been paid by citizens were re-entered into the 'Armed' system by the LLC, resulting in an additional unjustified receipt of 5,672,430 AMD from the Ministry of Health.

Information regarding the violations has been sent to the General Prosecutor of Armenia for legal assessment and to ensure further proceedings.
