«Jhangiryan, I reject your proposal»: Tracing Vardazaryan's Mysterious Post

Ruben Vardazaryan, the chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, whose powers have been temporarily suspended, made a mysterious post on his Facebook page addressed to Gagik Jhangiryan, who is currently temporarily occupying the position of the president of the Supreme Judicial Council.

He wrote: “Jhangiryan, I reject your proposal.”

The publication attempted to reach Vardazaryan to understand what proposal he was referring to, but he did not respond.

A source from the media reported that Vardazaryan was offered to submit a resignation letter and permanently vacate the position of chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, with the promise that the criminal case opened against him would be dropped in return. However, Vardazaryan rejected the offer.

Auroranews.am tried to contact both Gagik Jhangiryan and Ruben Vardazaryan, but once again the outcome was the same: the acting chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council and the chairman of the council left the calls unanswered.
