Minister Denies Having Such a Conversation with Any Employee

Today, rumors circulated that an employee of the Ministry of Justice was forced to submit a resignation letter because they had posted the flag of Artsakh on their car window. The author of the false information is Arsen Babayan, a member of the 'Homeland' party. We inform you that the published information is completely false. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, denying the circulated news.

"Moreover, the false information stated that the employee 'threatened' the Minister of Justice that they would make a public statement if the Minister did not stop the illegal demand. We inform you that Minister Andreasyan has never had such a conversation with any employee. Nevertheless, if any illegal actions have taken place against an employee of the ministry, then, upon the release of names or providing them to the ministry, the supervisory department is ready to initiate a service inquiry and hold any official who has violated the law accountable," the statement said.
