Criminal Case Opened Following the Death of Television Host
A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the death of television journalist Armine Jagharyan, as reported by the advisor to the prosecutor, Gor Abrahamyan.
Earlier, we reported that Armine Jagharyan, the host of the show "My Suitcase and I" aired on Shahintv, was a victim of a tragic incident. She fell into the river while conducting filming from a boat.
Abrahamyan stated that the case was initiated based on the features of part 2, clause 3 of Article 279 of the Criminal Code (the release or sale of goods that do not meet safety requirements, or performing works or providing services that have resulted in unintentional death).
The criminal case has been sent to the Lori regional office of the Investigative Committee with written instructions to conduct actions aimed at fully and comprehensively clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
It is noteworthy that Vardan Tadevosyan, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, informed Sputnik Armenia that Armine's husband was present during the filming. The boat overturned, and her husband tried to assist her, but the river swept her away.
