‘Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Says What Nikol Says’ - Ishkhan Saghatelyan

During an awareness march, Armenia's Deputy Speaker of Parliament and member of the 'Resistance' movement Ishkhan Saghatelyan responded to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov's statement that 5-6 thousand people participate in protests and acts of civil disobedience in Armenia.

Bayramov accused the Armenian opposition of leading the country to the brink and emphasized that they have made false promises to the Armenian people for nearly 30 years. He mentioned politicians such as Robert Kocharyan, Ando, Vahagn Aleksanyan, Arsen Torosyan, and other members of the ruling Civil Contract party. Bayramov also declared that the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh is closed and that fighting for the security of Artsakh is a false agenda.

Saghatelyan noted, “It seems to me that the texts of the Turks and the Civil Contract party are written in the same place. In recent days, we have proven to both Azerbaijan and the internal Turks of Armenia that we are the masters of our homeland.”

He reaffirmed that the current government does not have a mandate to make new concessions. According to Saghatelyan, their struggle is for Artsakh, for Armenia, for the homeland, and for the future.

It is worth mentioning that a wave of protests erupted in Armenia following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's remarks regarding Artsakh.
