Attack on Russian Ambassador in Poland

An attack was carried out on the Russian ambassador in Poland while he was laying flowers at a cemetery dedicated to the memory of Soviet soldiers. The incident occurred on the morning of May 9.

Sergey Andreyev, head of the Russian diplomatic mission, was splashed with red paint in Warsaw while placing a wreath at the cemetery of Soviet soldiers, according to TASS.

It was previously reported that the Russian embassy in Poland was forced to minimize the events planned for the celebration of Victory Day.
