Around 7700 People Present at France Square and Surrounding Areas as of 18:47: ICM
On May 9, the opposition 'Resistance' movement held a rally at France Square in Yerevan starting from 18:00. This was reported by the Information Center for Irregularly Informed Citizens.
The Information Center conducted an aerial survey to count the participants of the rally, which revealed that as of 18:47, there were around 7700 people in France Square and the surrounding areas.
It is important to note that the opposition had previously announced that the rally would start at 17:00, but it actually began only at 18:00. Accordingly, our count was based on a photograph taken after the rally officially began.
Additionally, some participants of the rally may not be visible, likely due to being obscured by trees or tents. The count was carried out through individual tracking of the attendees.
The high-quality photograph is available here. To verify our count, the photo can be downloaded here using points that identify individuals.
