120 Tons of Water in a Residential Basement, Emergency Situations Ministry Reports

On May 9, at 07:29, the Aragatsotn regional crisis management center received a report that the basement of a house on Vazgen Sargsyan Street in the village of Sisavan was filling with irrigation water, requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A firefighting team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers removed approximately 120 tons of water from the basement using a motor pump.
