Ukraine May Plan Attack on Crimea Bridge on May 9, Says Latvian Captain
A representative of the Latvian National Armed Forces, Captain Jānis Slaidins, stated that Ukraine may be planning an attack on the Crimea Bridge on May 9. He made this remark in an interview with Latvian radio, as reported by Gazeta.
According to him, in terms of weaponry, Ukraine has the capability to carry out such an operation, and if successful, it would provide a moral boost for the Ukrainians. “This opportunity must be preserved, as after the supplies from Western countries, Ukraine has the potential to strike this strategically significant bridge,” Slaidins noted.
In his opinion, damaging the Crimea Bridge would be a serious blow to Russia, as it is used for supplying reserve forces of the Russian Armed Forces.
