‘These Turks handed over the country’: Incident involving MP Hovik Aghazaryan at a café

According to ArmDaily.am, an incident occurred recently at one of the cafés in Yerevan involving MP Hovik Aghazaryan from the ruling My Step alliance.

At the café, Aghazaryan was confronted with the statement, ‘These Turks handed over the country,’ to which he responded, ‘Is there a better Turk than you?’ Following these insulting remarks, a scuffle broke out, and one of the café patrons reportedly struck Aghazaryan with a bottle.

Auroranews.am reached out to the MP for details regarding the incident. Aghazaryan confirmed the occurrence, stating, ‘Yes, such an incident happened. Citizens approached, and they separated us.’

However, Aghazaryan did not confirm the report of being struck with a bottle. ‘There was no bottle hit; the citizens separated us,’ he concluded.
