Investigation by Artsakh Prosecutor's Office into Azerbaijan Military Vehicle’s Incident with Armenian Taxi

On May 5, around 13:30, a vehicle belonging to an Azerbaijani military convoy was involved in an incident on the road section connecting Drmbon and Martakert in the Martakert region of the Republic of Artsakh. The Armenian vehicle, traveling in the opposite lane, fell into a right-side ditch as a result of the accident.

The Artsakh Prosecutor's Office informed Armenpress that police officers arrived at the scene immediately after the incident. The driver and two passengers did not sustain serious injuries, and their lives are not in danger.

The police are taking measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident, the causes of the accident and collision, the possibility of prevention, and whether the collision was a result of intentional actions or negligence. There are reports that the affected vehicle was a taxi transporting two passengers.
