George Bush Calls Zelensky 'The Winston Churchill of Our Time'

Former President of the United States George W. Bush Jr. referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “the Winston Churchill of our time” after a conversation with him. He emphasized that the resilience and determination of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression has inspired the American people.

This statement was made by George W. Bush Jr. on Instagram, where he shared a photo from the video conference with Zelensky. “It was an honor to speak for a few minutes this morning with President Zelensky, the Winston Churchill of our time. I expressed my gratitude to the president for his leadership, example, and dedication to freedom, and paid tribute to the courage of the Ukrainian people. President Zelensky assured me that they will not back down in the fight against (Russian President Vladimir) Putin's barbarism and thuggery. Americans are inspired by their resilience and determination. We will continue to support Ukrainians as they fight for their freedom,” emphasized the 43rd President of the United States.
