You Are Nikol: Incident Between Protester and Policeman

According to the newspaper "Hraparak," an incident occurred yesterday during one of the civil disobedience actions between a policeman and a protester. The protester called the policeman "Nikol" as he was being pulled by him, to which the policeman reacted, saying, "You are Nikol."

It is worth noting that the protesters have a slogan directed at the police, saying, "The policeman is not Nikol," which they use to try to win the sympathy of the officers. Yesterday, it was reported that a similar incident had occurred a few days earlier in the city of Charentsavan. A group of youths with differing political views were engaged in conversation around a table, touching on political topics, and during the discussion, they referred to each other as "Nikol." This led to a quarrel that escalated into a brawl. Although the anti-Nikol faction emerged victorious in the fight, both sides ultimately reconciled, agreeing that it is inappropriate to call each other "Nikol" as it is offensive.
