VIDEO: "Without Nikol, Armenia" – Opposition MPs Chant
The session between the government and the Parliament was held in a tense atmosphere today, as previously reported.
Armen Rustamyan, an MP from the "Armenia" faction, presented a statement demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister, to which Nikol Pashinyan responded, saying, "I will make a very important revelation now." Following this, the opposition members left the session hall, stating that they did not want to listen.
Pashinyan also remarked, "Oh, you don’t want to listen, then just say that you don’t want to listen; as you have always fled, you will flee again. Long live Armenian democracy! The moment I said that a revelation was about to be made, they ran away."
The ruling party members applauded as they sent off the opposition and chanted, "Prime Minister!" Meanwhile, opposition MPs were chanting in the session hall, "Without Nikol, Armenia."
