Number of People Detained: Police Report

Early in the morning, representatives of the opposition and supportive citizens blocked roads in various parts of Yerevan, carrying out peaceful acts of disobedience.

The Police in the Republic of Armenia report that at this time, 40 individuals have been detained.

The citizens were taken into custody based on Article 182 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Armenia. It is noteworthy that Article 182 establishes the failure to comply with the legal requirements of police officers.
