Mines from Soviet Era Discovered in Azerbaijani Sector of Caspian Sea

Mines from the Soviet era have been discovered in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. During an exploration of the area, six mines (KB-1) were found at a depth of 60 meters. The defusing operation is scheduled to begin on May 9. The area where the mines were discovered has temporarily been closed to shipping traffic.
