Is the Parliamentary Staff Being Sent Home? Parliament Offers Comments on the News

“I am from the staff, and no one has told me such a thing.” This was stated by the spokesperson of the National Assembly Speaker, Tsovinar Khachatryan, in an interview with Auroranews while commenting on reports that the legislative assembly's staff is being sent home.

It is noteworthy that media outlets are circulating information about the staff being sent home.

A question and answer session is scheduled to take place at 16:30 between the National Assembly and the government, with the participation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Recall that the National Security Service recently issued a statement indicating that they have received information suggesting that the organizers of the gathering in Yerevan were planning to incite illegal actions during today’s regular session of the National Assembly and to provoke participants of the gathering to seize the National Assembly building, thereby destabilizing the country’s internal security.

Additionally, it should be noted that the gates of the National Assembly are closed, and sound flash grenades have been installed inside.
