Identified: The Citizen Who Died at France Square
News has just emerged that an unidentified citizen suffering from cardiac arrest was transferred by ambulance to the number 1 university hospital from one of the tents located at France Square.
Opposition leaders Ishkhan Saghatelyan and Aram Vardevanyan were unaware of such an incident.
In a conversation with hraparak.am, the director of the ambulance company, Takhoughi Stepanyan, stated that the citizen was taken to the hospital from the tent: “Perhaps he fell ill elsewhere and was brought close; I can’t say for sure.”
The deceased citizen has been identified as 50-year-old Artur Sedrakyan, a resident of Yerevan. Sources from law enforcement have confirmed to the media that there were no signs of a needle or drug use on the deceased man, and it is currently impossible to determine whether his death was due to drug use or not. Such a conclusion can only be made after a forensic examination. Nonetheless, there were no external signs of foul play.
