Major Car Accident: 'Yashik' Crashes Into Iron Barrier
Today, on May 3, a major car accident occurred in the Armavir region. At around 11:45, vehicles of the Mercedes G and Mercedes E180 models collided on the 20 km stretch of the Yerevan-Armenavir highway.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the 'Yashik' exited the roadway and crashed into an iron barrier. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the accident.
Rapidly, officers from the first platoon of the second police battalion of the traffic police, led by squad commander Grigor Poghosyan and platoon commander Marlen Sargsyan, arrived at the scene.
The investigative process at the site was led by investigator Garik Hovhannisyan, who is preparing materials regarding the incident. The police are identifying the drivers.
