It Will Be a Matter of One or Two Days to Get Rid of This Government – Vanetsyan

The former Director of the NSS and leader of the 'Homeland' party, Arthur Vanetsyan, is confident that they will quickly address their goal, which is the removal of Nikol Pashinyan.

“We will achieve this exclusively through peaceful civil disobedience actions. No matter how much they try to use force or spread false information in the media, it will not affect us; the people have awakened and stepped out to defend their rights. The people are the rightful owners, and it is impossible to ignore their demands,” Vanetsyan told reporters.

He noted that in one or two days it will be impossible to continue the activities of the authorities in Armenia. The leader of the parliamentary 'I Have Honor' faction stated that they are not negotiating with the government; they are the owners of their demands and are not making deals with anyone.

According to him, all their actions are planned, but they often also resort to spontaneous moves. “It is a matter of one or two days to get rid of this government; there is no option for failure. Failing would mean losing Armenia, losing Artsakh, and losing our Armenian identity,” said the former NSS director.

For the opposition, the question of leadership is currently secondary; the priority is to protect the homeland. Arthur Vanetsyan believes that if their numbers continue to grow, the police will be unable to use force.

“If we have as many protesters on the street as there are police officers, it will be impossible to disperse the demonstration,” he stated.
